After several months of great anticipation, we finally welcome a new animal species in our family. In their name most people shudder. Many are afraid of thinking that they will “drink their blood” or get tangled in their hair! We are talking about bats. But not those we are used to and know.
These are the Rodriguez flying bats, also known as flying foxes. Their name is due to their similarity to foxes. Only these are actually flying. They are not fed with blood but with fruits and nectars! They are special and lovable and you will soon be able to meet them, as the new home we have created for them gives us the opportunity to get very close and walk alongside them.
