On the occasion of the Awareness Day for Penguins (20/1) we organized educational and fun activities in our Park (presentations, games and constructions).
As every year, this year at the Attica Zoological Park we are organizing a large painting competition on the conservation of penguins.

We invite children aged 5 to 12 years to send a copy of their artwork to education@atticapark.gr with your name, age, title of piece and medium used (e.g., watercolor, acrylic) for the opportunity to win a prize (e.g., 1st prize: annual card & a zoo camp week, 2nd prize: annual card, 3rd prize: 2 free entrance tickets, 4th prize: 1 free entrance ticket, 5th prize - penguin gift from the zoo shop)!
Submit your entry until the 24th February. Winning pieces of artwork will be selected by our artist Eleni Papadaki. The winners will be announced on 5th March on our site and will be notified via email.
General Rules of the Competition:
- Submitted works should be related to: African penguins (where and how they live, what they eat, what threats they face, etc.)
- An high quality electronic copy of the artwork, attached to an email with the details requested above must be sent to education@atticapark.gr as official entry to the competition. There is no need to send the original piece.
- Please submit a high quality image (at least 1MB).
- Winners will be notified via email, on the AZP website and our Facebook site.
- One or more artworks can be submitted by each participant.
Copyright and Use:
- By submitting artwork to contest, the participant grants the AZP the right to use, reproduce any of the artworks on their publication and on the AZP website (www.atticapark.com). Any artwork used by AZP shall bear the author's name.
- The participants grant AZP the permission to display their artwork on www.atticapark.com.
Agreement to Rules:
-The enrolment for the AZP Penguin Art Competition is regarded as an unconditional acceptance of all the regulations stated above.
-The competition rules are subject to change without notice.
