The word “edutainment” comes from a composition of the words “education” and “entertainment”, and it renders the aim of the Attica Zoological Park, which, except for being entertaining, of course, is also educational, as it is our belief that by raising public awareness we can help protect the animals and the environment.

Informing the public about the animal kingdom as well as trying to preserve and breed endangered species - about 60% of the Park’s animals are endangered or even under extinction - constitute our main aims.

In this framework, educational programmes and guided tours for schools groups are carried out at the Attica Zoological Park.
