On sunny Sundays, between 11.00 am - 14.00 pm the turnout is quite high, so the wait can be up to 30 minutes.
In order to avoid being put out, you can arrange your arrival to the Park a little earlier or later.
Animals at Attica Zoological Park follow their biological clock so they tend to be more active early in the morning or late in the afternoon.
You can arrange your visit earlier or prolong your stay until sunset so that you can enjoy the animals!
Just like humans, animals need to rest in the evening, thus are moved into indoor areas away from public sight and outside noise. Plan your visit accordingly by coming to the Park at least 1 hour before its closing time.
All children may visit us as long as they are supervised by an adult.
There are 3 shaded picnic areas, as well as benches around the zoo.
Pets are not permitted because they agitate our animals and this may put everyone in risk.
Yes, the parking is FREE.
You can pay in cash or by credit card (VISA, Mastercard).
As long as you strictly follow the zoo’s rules, you risk no danger from these wild animals.
No, you don't need any special equipment, but we recomend that you wear a pair of trainers since you are up for a lot of walking in this 20ha beautiful Park. During spring and summer you may also need a hat and sunscreen.
