Social structure: Moves in groups of 25 -40 birds, but up to 1.000 have been recorded together. In pairs during breeding period.

Weight: Males 176g, Females 162g

Dimensions:  23-27cm

Lifespan: up to 7

IUCN Status: Least concern.

Threats:  There are no major threats to this species.
