Omnivore. Fruit, nectar, flower buds, kitchen waste, invertebrates (caterpillars, grasshoppers, beetles, termites, moths).


Habitat:  Wide range of habitats including dense hilly woodland, scrubland, cultivated areas,  gardens, urban areas.

Incubation: 12-14 days / 2-4 eggs

Social structure: Singly, in pairs or small family groups, non breeding period groups of up to 30 rarely 100 individuals.

Weight: 31g max
