Diet:
Mostly mammals (from small rodents to rabbits), birds and reptiles (mainly lizards).
Facts
Lives in deserts, savannah and sometimes in swampy areas. Prefers open land where it can hunt prey more easily. Sometimes will hunt in small cooperative groups. Sexes are identical but female is larger than male.
Fairly common in most of its range, but threatened in certain areas by the use of pesticides.
