Habitat:  Tropical rainforests

 

Gestation: 100 days, 1-7 cubs.


Social structure: mainly solitary


Weight: male 140kg, female 110kg


Dimensions: Length: up to 2.55 cm


Estimated population in the wild: ~568


Lifespan: 15-20 years in the wild


Threat: High rates of habitat loss and fragmentation, human-tiger conflict, illegal
trade in tiger parts sold at high prices in the black market.


IUCN Status: Critically Endangered
