International Bat Appreciation Day!
What a fun way to help raise awareness of the value of bats! While many people think that bats are scary, they are actually a very significant part of a healthy ecosystem, because they help pollinate plants and eat loads of unwanted insects such as mosquitoes. In Greece we have over 30 different species!!
