World Animal Day

The 4th of October is a very special day for our Park and the animals we host here! It is a wonderful opportunity for raising awareness and expressing love toward the wild co-habitants of our planet. 

This is why we invite you to celebrate with us on SUNDAY 3rd OCTOBER with a series of events, that emphasize the need for protection of wildlife and the dangers they face in the wild.

Arts & Crafts*

Animal masks will be given to children at the feedings

*Due to COVID measures, we kindly request that visitors wear masks around other visitors and maintain a safe distance of 2m from each other! In the Arts & Crafts, we will provide handouts but will not be able to set up an area for kids, for safety measures.

Interactive Book Presentation "Ταξίδι στην Αφρικανική Σαβάνα / Journey into the African Savana" 

Attica Zoological Park and DIOPTRA Publications invite you to an interactive book presentation, on Saturday October 23, at 16.15 at the zoo! Dr. Spyres will lead us into an exploration of the animals of the African Savanna by reading excerpts from her children's book "Journey into the African Savana" and taking us on a fun tour to meet the real protagonists! The program will be in the Greek language but English translation can be provided if needed.
