The Attica Zoological Park in cooperation with the ANIMA Association for the Protection and Welfare of Wildlife, once again helped in the proper rehabilitation of three vultures in their natural environment. After hosting them for several months at our park, under the constant care of our zookeepers, these rare birds were able to gain the weight and behavior they ought to have according to their species’ norms. Then on Friday 13/1/12 the three vultures left Attica Park under the supervision of ANIMA and held their first "flight" with AEGEAN Airlines towards their eventual release into the wild.
