As you remember on Christmas day a baby gibbon was born at our zoo. It is only now, that it is two months old, that we found out that our little gibbon is a boy. We have decided to ‘baptize’ it Guiko. The thought was that since the gibbons mate for life and the baby is the offspring of their love, then the most fit name for him should bederived from his parents names Guildo and Koni! We present you his pictures on his “christening” day.
So on your next visit at our Park, when you pass by the gibbons you will know how to call the baby.
