Two Komodo dragons, the new residents of Attica Zoological Park

Komodo dragons are the biggest species of lizard in the word! They can reach up to 3m in lenght and up to 90kg in weight.

Their sharp teeth, the venom they produce and their saliva which contains over 40 different bacteria, makes them one of the most powerful predators in their habitat, something which is rare for reptile species. Komodo dragons can hunt much bigger animals than their own size.

In Attica Zoological Park they are hosted in a special enclosure of over 500sq.m including both outside and inside enclosure with protective glass which enables our visitors to admire these amazing animals from up close .
