Little Nature Lovers ΖΟΟ CAMP

for children aged 2-5 years old

10am-1pm 

Latest research shows that children that come into direct contact with nature at least 2 hrs per week have many benefits, such as improvement of mental and physical health!  This process can become even more beautiful when they are experiencing wildlife with their parents in a safe environment like the zoo. 

Thus, every first Wednesday of each month (see zoo camp calendar here for details and registration), your children transform into young ecologists exploring and discovering plants and animals next to our experienced education staff.

Love Hornbill Day - 11 and 12 February 2023

"Hornbills - colorful warriors of the forest"

These unique and rare birds that have a majestic bill, live in the tropical rainforest and play an important role in tropical ecology by spreading the seeds of trees.  Many species of hornbills are seriously threatened with extinction and the only way to save them is through breeding and re-introduction to the wild via programs in wildlife rescue centers and zoological parks.  Meet them up close and find out how our Park is contributing to their conservation on weekend 11 and 12 February.

15:00  Feeding and free tour at the Hornbills (meet @Education Center)
