International Cheetah Day

Cheetahs are beautiful felids that have "black tears" and are able to run the fastest of all land animals.  They can reach 115 km/hr while chasing prey but they are not marathon runners!  They last less than a minute at that speed.  Let's learn about cheetahs at the zoo with a book reading, arts and a tour at their enclosure.
